Little Buckaroo Ranch proudly offers AMHA and AMHR registered miniature horses for sale. Imprinted at birth, they are easy for even small children to handle.  Some of the larger "B" size minis are trained for riding.  Others are suitable for show or to simply enjoy.  Several handsome miniature stallions with prize-winning conformation are available for breeding service to outside mares. We also might have a pony or two.

We offer interest free payments with a non-refundable 25% deposit. After one month, we will board your horse for a nominal fee. It's up to you to decide the amount and frequency of payment, but the total must be paid in full within 6 months.

Blaze (b. 4/29/04) - A black AMHR colt with a wide white blaze. SOLD!

Bob Wire (b. 5/22/2010) - Hit the trails with this smart red AMHR gelding! He'll walk nicely at your heel and trot by your side when you pick up the pace to go jogging. He is Dainty Doll's first foal and Corky is the proud papa. Sold in May 2011.

Bonnie (b. 6/12/98) - This proven AMHA broodmare is out of our little Dixie and the dam of beautiful Lily. Miss Bonnie played her role with the Little Buckaroo Ranch broodmare band. SOLD!

Brownie (b. 6/2/91) - Brownie is a wise and patient teacher. This sorrel pony is a solid citizen of the Little Buckaroo Ranch. NFS

Bullet (b. 5/8/03) - An AMHR colt with white rear socks and one white fore sock. His sire is a loud, frame overo and his dam is a blue-eyed black tobie. SOLD! Bullet's found a pasture buddy. They're the very best of friends.

Cocoa (b. 6/20/02) - Cocoa is a dear, sweet dark chocolate shetland pony; careful and kind with the children who ride her. NFS

Corky (b. 5/21/00) - Here is one gorgeous true solid black AMHR stallion! He looks like a compact model of the great Friesian horses with a full mane, a tail that trails on the ground and black feathers on his feet. Proud sire of little Sassy, Spindletop and Bob Wire, Corky loves to run and jump. $3500

Dainty Doll (b. 4/16/03) - She is a beautifully marked, AMHR chestnut pinto mare. Even in a crowd, Dainty is the center of attention. She is the mama of little Bob Wire. $2,750

Dash of Pepper (b. 5/13/00) - A black gelding out of the famous son of Komoke, Doctor Pepper, double-registered and trained to jump, bow and walk the stairs. SOLD and bringing smiles to Mickey and Donna!

Dawn (b. 6/27/95) - A mature silver dapple mare with a flaxen mane and tail is a little buckaroo's dream come true. This pretty, well-trained pony is a dependable and faithful mount. NFS

Dixie (b. 5/25/94) - This double registered (AMHA & AMHR) 31 1/2" little palomino mare is seen here with her 2007 foal named Sassy. Pretty as a picture, Dixie is now posing for a talented equine artist in Cypress, Texas. She moved into the artist's studio in January 2009.

Firewater Spirit (b. 3/13/03) - He's a small AMHR buckskin gelding with a big personality. His sire is 28" and Spirit's dam is only 27 1/2". SOLD and galloping off to his new home on August 6, 2006!

Flash (b. 3/24/02) - A very sturdy double-registered AMHA/AMHR gelding! A compact sorrel paint, Flash is built to pull a cart and calm as can be. He is our sweetest fellow and minds his manners wherever he goes. SOLD on November 24, 2010, Flash will celebrate Thanksgiving at his home in Paradise (Texas, that is).

Frisky Britches (b. 4/2/03) - He is what folks call a shy appaloosa because he sports only a few spots on his rear, but he loves children. This 29" brown appaloosa AMHR stallion has one blue eye and one brown eye and a typical Appie striped hoof. Frisky is a real good looker with plenty of presence and good manners to boot. Agile and quick, he jumps clear rounds with great form and seems to relish the crowd's applause. SOLD on November 24, 2010, Frisky is his new owner's 50th birthday wish come true.

Ginger (b. 6/2/91) - A 33 inch AMHR sorrel mare with a flaxen mane & tail, softly expressive eyes, a small star and a little snip on the end of her soft nose, Ginger stands quietly to be groomed by the tiniest ranch hands. Sold on August 29, 2009, she gave a cheer when Pedernales hopped in the trailer, too!

Howdy Dude (b. 6/8/04) - A pale red dun with a red dorsal stripe and a broad snip on his nose sports a carrot colored mane. Howdy knows his name and whinnies when you call him. This good natured AMHR colt will be riding size when he grows up. SOLD in August, 2006 to a horse-friendly, happy home with Firewater Spirit to keep him company.

Karat (b. 3/22/99) - A golden AMHR stallion (Peaches x Nugget) and now living in Thousand Oaks, California. SOLD!

Kibble (b. 5/7/09) - A sweet little angel, Kibble went home to a beautiful place with loving arms to hold him.

Lily Langtree (b. 4/1/02) - An AMHA mare, Lily is a true cremello with blue eyes and an iridescent sheen to her coat. She'll win your heart. $2,500

Marshal Dillon - Unlike Trigger and Fury, the horse ridden by Matt Dillon in Gunsmoke was never called by name in the TV series so this beautifully put together buckskin was named for the star of the series. SOLD in June 2007!

Monet (b. 9/22/06) - This black and white painted pony makes a great impression! NFS

Nugget (b. 5/9/90) - This handsome AMHR sorrel stallion looks like a foundation quarter horse! Nugget's willingness to please plus his good looks make this proven stallion a good choice. Nugget has his work cut out for him at his new spread in February 2011.

Ooh La La (b. 5/31/03) - A very short, splashy overo AMHR filly with bright blue eyes. SOLD in May 2009.

Oopsie Daisy (b. 5/23/03) - One of our most precious minis, Oopsie is a 29" AMHA palomino pinto. Refined and elegant, she will make heads turn in the show ring. $10,500

Peaches (b. 3/30/93) - This B-size pretty palomino AMHR mare is a working mom with a calm disposition. Peaches is a reliable member of the lead line team and has been ridden independently in the OK Corral by beginning buckaroos.  This sweet heart was sold in February 2011.

Pedernales Pete (b. 4/28/03) - The color of champagne, this 31.25" AMHR stallion has a "look at me" attitude. Sold in August, 2009, he jumped at the chance to make a new home with Ginger in nearby Dripping Springs.

Peruna (b. 3/23/04) - You might spot this sorrel pinto gelding with sparkling blue eyes at Lake Travis. He splashes happily around Katie Cove as if he were a seahorse. NFS

Pineywoods Pete (b. 6/10/04) - A red roan colt. SOLD in May 2005.

Pistol Pete (b. 6/4/03) - A red head! Pistol is a very tiny & correct AMHR red roan with a great big personality. This 27.25" stallion is now standing at the Little Buckaroo Ranch. Bring your mare to visit! $15,000

Raggedy Ann (b. 5/19/03) - This sorrel 36" AMHR mare has proven to be a great mom. Raggedy Andy was her first colt. She is a real sweetie. $2,000

Raggedy Andy (b. 5/7/09) - This red-headed AMHR star made his first appearance on stage to a thrilled audience at a 3:30 matinee feature! Andy sold as soon as he stood for the first time to applause from his adoring fans.

Rocky (b. 3/12/90) - Rocky proudly took reserve place in the AMHR 1993 All Star Top Ten and later brought home blue ribbons in lead line barrels and poles at the youth rodeo in Marble Falls. Always a friend, he is kind and gentle with kids. SOLD!

Rowdy (b. 7/9/98) - When it is time to head 'em up and move 'em out, all the buckaroos want to saddle this sturdy sorrel pony for the trail drive. Cowboy Jack's birthday wish came true in February 2011.

Sassafras (b. 4/10/07) - A tiny black AMHR filly with a little white star, she is only 25 inches tall. Sassy is the center of attention at Little Buckaroo Ranch round ups. She will make a perfect pet! Sold in December '08 and loaded in Santa's sleigh for Christmas delivery to snowy Illinois!

Shining Star (b. 2/19/04) - A pretty sorrel filly with a bright and shining star on her forehead. SOLD!

Shy Anne ( b. 9/24/93) - With her fancy blaze and dished profile, this sorrel pony tosses her silky mane and flags her flaxen tail as she prances about the pasture in her 4 white stockings. $500 OBO

Silver (b. 5/17/03) - This AMHR colt is a silver and white pinto. SOLD to a growing family with kids who adore him!

Spindletop (b. 5/27/07) - This AMHR colt is picture perfect at 7 days old. He is cute and correct! SOLD! Spindletop will celebrate the 2008 New Year with a young cowgirl whose grandparents love her as much as she loves horses.

Stonewall Peach (b. 4/21/98) - Stoney is a good-looking and well-mannered AMHR colt out of Nugget with the refinement of his dam, Peaches. SOLD! And bringing smiles to a special child in Canton, Texas.

Willie (b. 6/24/97) - A sturdy tri-color paint pony gelding, Willie is just waiting for little buckaroos to ride him. SOLD in August, 2006. He's found a lovely lady friend in Conroe, Texas and is training her to bring him carrots.
