Basic Horsemanship & Riding Lessons

Children learn basic horse care and beginning riding skills in this series of private, one-hour lessons.  A fun, game format teaches skills such as Lead a Horse to Water (proper leading), Red Light/Green Light (giddy-up and whoa), Around the World (a balance exercise) and more, building confidence and safety on the ground and in the saddle.  All initial lessons are conducted at the walk.  Upon mastering each skill, the children earn Certificates of Achievement.

Say howdy to the miniature horses and ponies at Little Buckaroo Ranch and get started riding today.  A planned set of four or eight, once a week sessions is available.
